I really wanted to love these as much as I love the bralettes. While it’s close, I’m guessing I’m between a Sm and a Med. I ordered small because I always do. These are just a tiny bit smaller than I expected. My biggest critique is the binding edges on the leg openings. I wish it were a flatter fit. Other than that, I’m still a fan! I I’ll likely try a Med next time.
like the other reviews mention, there is alot more fabric in the front than the normal thong, but its not super bothersome (not thick and bunchy-- but very thin, light and breatheable), more like a hipster fit in the front. I tried both the XS and the S. I have 23" waist and weigh 100 lbs. The XS actually fit perfect. But the S was more comfortable, didn't cut into my legs, give a wedgie or leave lines. OMG this thong is like air. I've been wearing in Florida heat for 5 days now. Every night I hand wash it and by morning it's dry. NO smell. NO wet strap between your legs or up your butt. YES. Got in every color.
I bought an essential thong, hipster and bralette in Nov. 2024. After wearing the thong once again yesterday, I was finally inspired to write a review. These are investment underwear and other buyers oughta know. I immediately considered returning the thong because it was uncomfortable but decided to give it time to break in (? lol). The thong has never really softened up, and while lounging, going to sleep, or active and upright, I end up having to quickly pick a wedgie that is actually pinching my bits. Owwie! If you have hemorrhoids, I would not recommend this thong. I am a true medium and wear thongs most days of the week (cotton). Branwyn thongs boast high quality craftsmanship but the result is, for me, an uncomfortable product. No issues with the hipster or bralette - would recommend those.

Soft and stretchy !!!
I really like this thong. I ordered one before getting a few to try it out, and at first, I was a little hesitant with the heft of the fabric. These are thicker than other merino thongs I've owned. However, they are super comfortable and work well in humid, dry, and hot conditions. I actually like the thicker fabric now that I am used to them and find these very comfortable.
