She couldn’t buy it, so she built it

Founder Shawna went looking for underwear made from natural fibers she’d actually want to wear while exercising — and couldn’t find it. Everything was bad-for-the-planet polyester-cotton that got soggy fast, or cut in ways that didn’t move with a woman’s body. Two years of R&D later (with her mom as technical designer), she landed on a seamless blend of ZQ Merino wool, nylon, and elastane. BRANWYN was born.
