Definitely not disappointed; the essential busty bra is soft and supportive and unstinkable. I did not experience the band rolling up as others have so this bra is almost perfect... its just that I was spoiled by my first Branwyn purchase, the essential supreme bra. The busty comes in more colors and is perfect for lounging, but I will definitely grab more than one supreme when it's back in stock - the separation is better so I feel more comfortable wearing to work and as an every day bra.
I was skeptical when I bought these bras, I bought an XL and a XXL and I usually wear a 2X in clothing and have a rather large bust (L cups). They are, of course, not nearly as supportive as an underwire bra is, but they’re not as bad as I was expecting. The XL works better for support while still being comfortable, the XXL will likely be for complete comfort and rarely worn out unless to the airport. The sports bra I got in a XXL and I’ll have to be strategic on how I wear it as it’s not very supportive either but was great under overalls as a top at six flags!
They are perfect for moisture wicking, quick drying, and best of all NO SMELL. these will be perfect for long weekends and camping! But ultimately I won’t be able to ditch my underwires for tighter fitting clothing and nicer attire.
I want to love this bra and I'm going to give it a chance, but I will echo other reviews here (and perhaps should have heeded their advice) and say it's comfortable for larger breasts (I am 36 DDD / F) but doesn't do any lifting, and certainly is not a sports bra! Nice lounge bra and I'll wear in the winter when I'm wearing big sweaters. Also seems worth noting it's 80-somthing percent merino, and the rest is nylon and elastic. I should have checked the fine print before I bought it, and I should have known it was too good to be true (can't find a 100% wool bra anywhere... does it exist?), but the "made of wool" marketing was STRONG and I didn't realize until I got it and saw the content listed on the thing. It's a tough world out there for big-boobed people wanting non-toxic bras! I guess I'm stuck with organic cotton (nice, but not stretchy enough) and bamboo viscose (good material but bad chemical-byproduct processing).
It is a good bra, just wish it was a little more supportive for my large "ladies"
I love this because it keeps me warm in winter ad cool in summer. I can wear it for 3-4 days ad it doesn’t smell. I have even used it for a swim top and it dries quickly.
Love the fit and material! I have been searching for years for such a great bra! Just bought another!
Years of saggy cotton are transcended by this light weight merino wool. The stretchy component was a surprise as there was no mention of it in the literature and being a knitter, I was expecting pure wool.
I’ve been worrying my bra just about every day since I received it in the mail. I’m giving it a good test before the first washing to see if it reaches my expectation. I’m going on a month-long journey mid August mid September and this will make packing much easier.
I got my first one a while ago and I love it so much i needed another one. I wear a 34c and got the small. I like the thicker straps on the busty version.
I am one that is in between in sizes and was not sure if i should get a large or XL - I read that it was suggested to go up if unsure. So I did and am very happy with the comfort and fit, still feels like I could have went either way but this definitely works! Since a shoulder injury I'm just now trying to get back into the exercising and from what I read the next time I order will be the sports and I should go for the large! Can't wait to try that one too!!
Love the quality and feel and the comfort!!!
I love the material and color of this bikini. Merino undies are my favorite, and Branwyn are the longest lasting. The sizing seems a little off, I ordered a size L and it seems a bit too small, even though most other brands a L is usually a tad too big.
I purchased a medium and a large bc I wasn't sure of the sizing. The medium fit best. I usually wear a small top, but the girls are a D cup and I'm carrying an extra few pounds and wasn't sure. The large was too big and did not provide enough support and the band rolled. The medium was tight at first and has seemed to form to me. Little rolling in the band and much more comfortable. I wish it had pads, but I place pads there and they don't seem to shift around. I am happy with the bra and may order a sports bra to see how that works with exercise.
I will probably gift the Large to a friend of mine. Hope she likes it :)
I love the bra it is comfortable, soft, supportive and sexy too! I had to echange for a larger size (my mistake) and the happiness team sent me a new one in 24 hours. Great people.
I tried it out on a sunny 90+ heat advisory day and mowed the yard. No pools of sweat you know where. So incredibly comfortable!
My bras and underwear from Branwyn live up to the five star reviews. The underwear is truly perfect the way it fits and how well it washes. Between my cup of coffee and my divine undies everyday is a great day.
I was surprised at how comfortable this bra is. This isn't a bra I would jog or hike in, but it is great for everyday wear.
I’ve got super sensitive skin and the skin under the tatas would get raw with other bras- this bra is super soft and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I was a little scared to wear wool but it is complete non-itchy and cool and comfortable.
This bra is extremely soft and comfortable to wear. It seems well made and it’s been worn multiple days in a row without losing its shape or developing an odor. The biggest downside is the lack of support- it gives off a tubular look and the ability to not add removable inserts from the bra feels like a dealbreaker. I purchased 2 and may return the one that hasn’t been worn.
I finally bought the busty bra after thinking about it for~6 months. My previous bras had been giving me rashes whenever I sweated, both exercise and everyday bras and wanted to try something with more natural fibers. My skin hasn’t been bothered and I’ve been impressed by the support despite wireless. Definitely my new everyday bra. I’m an XL/38/40DD for reference.
It’s love at first wear for me. True to size. A hint of support there, but comfortable and breathable, too. True to size as well.
A tad bit itchy at first. Stuck with it due to fantastic fit and support. After an hour or so, it was perfect! Not going back to my old bras!
