I can’t say enough about the luxury of the feel and wear! It’s so comfy, the fabric is wonderful and holds its shape, never feel sweaty, and you can wear it several times in the week and still is just as comfortable!
I am right between a medium and large, so ordered the large. The fit is good for hanging around and light mobility. I am going to order a medium for a bit more support for daily 5 mile walks.
This bra was a little bit itchy at first, and that went away after a few washes. I am super picky about bras, and this one is very comfortable. It has become my go-to for every day, and doesn’t have quite enough support for sporty activities. For that I like the Essential Racerback. I’m 5’-2”, 140, 38C and wear a Large.
I absolutely love my busty and hipsters. I recently wore them in Olympic National Park and was able to take my shirt and pants off and just jump in Lake Crescent. They dried quickly and provided good coverage, so I did not feel like I was in my underwear. For reference, I am post-menopausal (fat cells have migrated to new places, 5'6", 130 pounds, 34D. I have the busty in small and the hipsters in medium, but I could easily do small to.
To be fair . Asking for support without wires for a DD chest is a lot . Material is super comfortable which is nice but the underneath cup band comes down so far that my baby bump makes it roll up underneath which isn’t that great . Maybe after pregnancy once that top torso flattens out it’ll
Be better . Overall nice material and general fit is good for big breasts but if you don’t have a fake set of DD boobs there is no support or structure and the bottom band isn’t good for expecting mom bellies unless you’re sitting really low.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad to hear you found the material comfortable and that the overall fit worked well for your bust.
We're sorry to hear the support and band fit weren't quite what you were hoping for. Pregnancy can definitely change how garments fit and feel, especially around the ribcage and upper belly, and we understand how frustrating it can be when a band rolls due to those changes.
Our Essential styles are designed to provide light to medium support with comfort as the priority, rather than the structured support of an underwire bra. We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback, as it helps us better understand how our products perform across different body types and life stages.
Thank you for giving us a try and sharing your experience with our community. If you need anything at all, feel free to reach out to us at info@branwyn.com, we’re here to help.
I’m a true medium and while bra is soft, because it runs big, it’s not really the support level I’m looking for.
Amazing bra. So soft and comfy. Feels like wearing nothing! I'm a B so i find this size and style work well for the girls.
Awesome bikini! Stays in place, no creeping up my butt. I normally wear a string bikini because I don't like a lot of fabric bunching up but these don't bunch. They have great butt coverage and are slightly snug, which keeps them in place. I am 170lbs and I got a size large.
I had previously ordered dark nude in size large (typically wear M, but I took the advice of other reviewers and sized up to L). I am 5’9” and 150 lbs. They fit perfectly. After wearing for a bit, I ordered another L in the lunar gray. Right out of the package, I noticed how little they looked. They were way too small when trying them on. The customer service online exchange was very easy. I returned them for light nude size L and they fit correctly, exactly like the dark nude I already owned. I saw other reviews indicate that sometimes the sizing is not consistent. It definitely seems the gray was mislabeled with the wrong size.
To be fair I have only tried them. My normal size did not fit but the larger size was better. It was a comfortable fit with the appropriate amount of compression. I am eager to wear the leggings to give an adequate review.
I also purchased a bra and that was a perfect and comfortable fit. I plan to buy more!
The Branwyn Essential Bralette has been more comfortable for hiking and outdoor activities than other bras I’ve used. I love how soft the fabric feels, and even though I tend to be sensitive to wool, Branwyn’s products are not itchy at all. It manages moisture really well without feeling wet against the skin, resists odor better than synthetic options I’ve worn, and I no longer get heat rashes under the bottom band. I did find the band too tight in my usual size small, but sizing up to a large gave me a much better fit without feeling too big elsewhere.
I was so pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bra and underwear is! Absolutely fantastic quality. Cool even in summer. Highly recommend!!
Ordered these with the Essential Busty Bra, and want to review the leggings: I immediately knew I loved them when I pulled them on. Lightly compressive without being too tight. Feel like real fiber not the plastic of most leggings, but not overly warm. Breathable. The waistband rolls down a tad, but not too bad and I'm used to that with a meno-belly anyway ;) If I could buy more, I would (when I can I will?). I purchased the XXL and am around 5'6'' and around 200 lbs
I’ve tried a lot of underwear over the years, and I keep coming back to merino wool, nothing else compares. These have become my go-to for literally everything, from everyday wear to workouts and travel. They’re incredibly soft (not itchy at all), breathable, and do an amazing job at regulating temperature, so I stay comfortable whether I’m running errands or breaking a sweat.
What really stands out is how well they manage moisture and odor. I can wear them all day (or even on long travel days) and still feel fresh. The fit is supportive without being restrictive, and they hold up beautifully wash after wash (I hang to dry, never in the dryer).
If you’re on the fence about merino wool underwear, I can honestly say they’re worth it. Once you try them, it’s hard to go back. I love the essential bralettes too!
I work in the outdoor industry and have been wearing Branwyn while backpacking for 9+ days at a time. I have been very pleased with the comfort, moisture wicking, and durability of the products!
