Because of easily-triggered muscle pain, every single racerback I have tried to wear over the past 15 years has been *immediately no*! Everything I own from Branwyn is SO lovely that I took a chance and ordered this new sports bra. To my delight, it fit very comfortably (I went by the size chart), and never set off any muscle tightness or pain in my back, neck, or shoulders! I am so happy! I have slightly narrower-than-average shoulders, and I did not find the sports bra to irritate my neck (as it did for some others). But I am bustier-than-average, so XXL was my recommended size, which may influence the way the straps hit.
I really like this bra! I am a 34DD and initially ordered a large based on other reviews. The band on the large was a good fit, but the straps were quite long. I exchanged for a medium, which is a much better fit. The band is a bit snug, but this is a sports bra, and I expect it will stretch a bit with wear. For reference, I wear a medium in Branwyn's busty bra and a large in the original bralette. The straps are on the narrow side, but not super different from other sports bras.
I wouldn't run in this bra, but I think it will be suitable for pretty much any other workout!
I love this bra so much! It's great for high impact cold weather activities like running and uphill skiing. It dries pretty quickly, but it doesn't get super cold like my other sports bras. It's also very compressive, even for my DD girls. Some of the reviews mention the neck area is too tight or too high up, but I don't notice much difference from other sports bras.
Best sports bra. My nipples stay warm when it’s cold out but I also don’t get obsessively hot when it’s hot out. Highly recommend.
I do Pilates sometimes and noticed that the Branwyn bralette didn’t keep my girls quite where I’d like during the duration of working out, so decided to snag this racer back during a sale… and I love it!!
I got the natural color and tested it out during a few workouts - everything stayed in place without leaving me squished feeling
Plus, when I was done, there was NO smell (and I get pretty sweaty when I work out)
Highly recommend for those hoping for a more active bra to keep you in place but also not promote yuck odors
