I'm really impressed. These fit so well and feel so good. I'm going to save up and buy some more--they're great under dresses.

Almost but not quite

I'm 5'2" and 130lbs with a slight booty. I usually wear an XS or S in bike shorts (depends on the brand). I bought a S in these and they were so uncomfortably tight I could barely breathe. I considered getting a Medium or Large, but my other issue is due to my height, these shorts came up above my ribcage almost to my bra line. It would be incredible to have these be in a medium rise. I generally wear high-rise pants/shorts but these were extra-high-rise.

Longer please

As a huge fan of the Branwyn Busty bra, I was hoping to replace a pair of my synthetic compressive shorts with these merino ones. I find that they have two issues for me:
1.) When I put these on, the length shortens a lot, compared to the listed rating, and therefore they do not prevent my thighs from touching each other.
2.) They do not provide hardly any compression.

I'm on the border between Medium and Large. I purchased Large. If I size down to provide more compression, I run the risk of them being even shorter. So I guess these just don't work for me.

Loving the essential compression shorts

I have a number of underwear and bras and wanted to try these essential compression shorts for hiking. They’ve been super, keeping me comfortable and odor free. I purchased my usual size and they give a very comfortable compression level…they are not too tight for me. They did ride up a bit on the thighs so a longer inseam would be helpful. I’d love to see some boy shorts underwear… I’m loving not having the elastic around the thighs with these shorts.

I love the fit. I went up a size. Usually a small and ordered a medium. Medium fits great. I would order another color in the same size.
