Our Essential Racerback Bra is meant to fit snugly on the body. To find the correct size, start by fitting the band. Our size chart is based on our field testers' ability to fit two fingers between the body and the band but not more.

To determine the band size:

Measure snugly around your rib-cage, directly under your breasts. Add 3 inches to this measurement. For example, if your rib-cage is 31 inches, your band size is 34. If your result is an odd number, go UP to the next band size. For example, if your rib cage is 32 inches, 32+3=35, round 35 up to a 36 band size.

Our Performance Innerwear is meant to fit snugly on the body. If you prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up. If it feels just a little tight and you aren't sure if the next size up would be better, we recommend wearing and washing it a few times to see if it breaks in to your liking before exchanging it for another size.

Will it stretch out?

Our Performance Innerwear will give and relax with a bit with wear and wash. Many women find that it molds to your body over time.

Updated style runs bigger than earlier version

I have three of the older versions of this sports bra that I started wearing in the summer of 2024 and am not going back. I switched to wool b/c my polyester sports bras would stink so badly after just one month of use that my husband would venture into the basement while I’m working out and turn around to leave b/c they smelled up the room! I have been able to rotate through the three bras by handwashing in between uses a time or two before throwing in the washer. I just ordered a 4th in the updated style and have noticed it runs bigger than the earlier version. I am going to keep it b/c I can use it for low impact activities and perhaps some daily wear and it’s so lovely! However, next order I think I will get a small. For reference, I am about a 36C, a medium in all your other bras and underwear, large in the compression shorts, and small in the pants, tanks, and hoodie (can’t wait for those to come out again!)

This is my favorite sports bra! It is so comfy, feels like wearing nothing yet is quite supportive. The fit is perfect and it doesn't ride up or move around at all, stays put and moves with you. I would probably not do something super high impact like running in it, but it's perfect for an average workout. I wish you made an option with a back closure though, since I hate putting bras on over my head!

Irritated my skin

I was super excited to replace some of my older bras with wool. I loved how breathable it is and how it doesn't get smelly, but my skin got super irritated where the band is (in a way that has never happened with any other bra or wool clothing). I only wore it a few times and actually never to actually work out in. Very disappointed.

Great racerback sports bra!

Originally ordered the size M since that worked for the essential bralette, but in the racerback not so much! Came too far down on my short torso. Exchange process was super easy and size S was perfect. I love how quick drying it is. Compression is great so modesty pads aren’t needed though I’m glad I bought them for other bras. Happy with my purchase!
