I have two other bras from Branwyn (Busty Bras) and LOVE them and swear by them. I decided to get this sports bra and for some reason it is so itchy. I've worn it a few times and washed it to try and get rid of some of the itchiness, but I cant seem to make this thing comfortable like the other two. I'm so disappointed because this was insanely expensive for a sports bra
First I have to tell you I am a cold weather lover. I am out all winter, no matter what. I hate heat and high dew points. But get the walk in we must. Today is one of those high dew point days, and because I can’t get my lazy old body out of bed, I am out walking at 11 am, in the sun because it it supposed to rain later. I decided to put the Essential Racerback sports bra to the test. Did I sweat? Absolutely! Was I dripping? Absolutely! Need to get that maximum heart rate up! (I don’t handle heat very well ). This sports bra handled the heat differently. Usually in this weather with my regular sports bras I would have puddles and it would feel like the rubber band around my chest was 20 degrees hotter than anywhere else on my body. I think the Branwan bra was wicking the sweat away, keeping the boob area as cool as possible. If that makes sense. I can’t explain it any better. I know the extra hot rubber band feeling was not there. I am sold and will most definitely be purchasing a few more. BTW, I don’t write reviews unless I am impressed, this bra did just that.
I wore this bra to hike 115 km of the Camino in northern Spain, and it did not disappoint. I wore it for 6 days straight, some of which were very hot (upwards of 80 degrees Fahrenheit). It was super comfortable, supportive, and odor resistant on the days that I did not wash it. When I did wash it a couple of times during my trip, it air-dried very quickly overnight. I would absolutely recommend this product as it is now the best sports bra that I own. I liked it so much that I am adding other Branwyn products to my wardrobe.

V1: Sized up to L as per the advice, but this was an error as the fit becomes sloppy once the material is warm. I prefer this style as the higher scoop neck and close-set straps are extremely flattering on me. The material feels thick and compressive, and would have been really supportive if I had the right size. Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to try this style in medium - I think it would have been the perfect high-impact bra for kickboxing!
V2: The M size is much better for me, although the new style is closer to a conventional sports bra. The fabric is also thinner, which is more breathable but less compressive. I find the low scoop neck makes it feel less supportive than the previous version, which makes the V2 more appropriate for low impact activities like hiking.
Branwyn, please can I have a V1 in size M?
The bra's material is thick but breathable, and dries very fast! There's basically no smell after working out in it, which is awesome. I'm a 34/36B and wear a size M.
